Ed Hodges Elementary is located in Balch Springs, Texas as part of Mesquite ISD. Hodges Elementary has been serving the community for over 55 years after opening its doors in 1964. Our campus was named after community leader and former trustee Lewis Edward “Ed” Hodges who helped pave the way for the consolidation of Balch Springs Common School District and Mesquite ISD. 

Our campus serves approximately 520 students, 29 teachers, 15 professional staff members, and 11 support staff. Hodges is proudly part of the A.C. New Middle School and West Mesquite feeder pattern.
